Retail Therapy

I’m a girl on a constant budget. That’s just how I am. I always feel like I’m living paycheck to paycheck, that I’m never saving enough and that I’m always spending too much (even when I’m not spending anything besides the necessities – rent, groceries, bills). But sometimes, sometimes, we all need a little retail therapy. And I don’t allow myself to do this often, but once in awhile, we’ve got to treat ourselves. So I did.

Besides, with a marathon on the horizon in October, I anticipate many long runs in the heat of summer and capris just won’t do it so I got myself a new pair of long shorts and another headband to hold back my frizz.

Call me crazy but quite honestly, I’m already excited for tomorrow’s 9 miler in my new shorts.

Besides, did I mention, Lululemon speaks my language…

When was the last time you had a little retail therapy?

Treat yo’self! Am I right, Becky? 😉

TREAT YO’SELF! 🙂 I’m trying to cut back on my budget and save more money. For real this time. No more retail therapy for me. My form of retail therapy is vinyl anyway. I am going to dump my change jar into the counter machine at the bank, and whatever that number is will become my vinyl budget for the summer.

My retail therapy has been a little out of control lately BUT I do have several bags in the trunk of my car full of clothes to donate so at least I feel a little better about it… 😉

Retail therapy. HECK to the yes. I love your new shorts on you too! I cannot run that far in shorts so I’m kinda jealz… #chaffingprobs BUT I could use them for bumming around the house 🙂 And I think I’m going to treat myself to some retail therapy on Tuesday night after work. I mean, it’s just to avoid the traffic from the ‘burbs back into the city though… total practicality move 😉 Hehehe!

Girl, the only reason I can wear shorts is if they’re longer and go past the widest part of my thighs…lol These did ride up a bit once I started running so I did have to pull them down a few times to make sure I didn’t end up with chaffing problems. haha!

i can totally relate to what you said about feeling like you’ve spent too much even if you’ve only bought things that you absolutely need!
