I am and will always be a coffee drinker until my last day on this earth; I love the flavor and comfort and really, just the whole ritual of making myself a cup of delicious, strong coffee. But let’s get real, sometimes you have to change it up and as much as I hate to admit it, there is such a thing as too much coffee.
So for those times when I want something warm and comforting, I turn to tea.
Sometimes I forget how much I love it until I heat up some water, pick out a bag from my stash and hold the warm mug in my hands, sipping ever so carefully so as to not burn my mouth. It’s a ritual in and of itself.
There’s just something about that first sip that almost instantly relaxes me, reminds me to breathe and is like a momentary meditation. Maybe it’s the aroma, flavor or just the act of sipping something warm, but it’s good for the soul.
Lately I have been sipping on teas from Lipton’s new black and herbal varieties and improved green tea collection, including Amazingly Grey, Lemon Ginger, and Purple Acai Blueberry Green Tea.
My current favorite of the bunch is the Lemon Ginger…caffeine free, light with a “soothing citrus zing.”
Whether I’m hanging out at home relaxing after a long day (especially right now after this weekend’s breakup) or sitting at my desk at work, I just love the clean, refreshing taste of these teas. Not to mention my office is frigid and since sitting under a blanket for 8 hours isn’t enough, this is how I stay warm… 😉
Whether you’re looking to relax or re-energize, these multi-sensory teas will refresh your standard tea time, creating an exciting and unique tea-drinking experience. Check out the full line-up of Lipton Green, Black and Herbal tea flavors here.

Omg I totally know how you feel around the coffee ritual! I like tea, but I am trying to get out of the ritual of only drinking it when I am sick 🙂
Tea is so relaxing, you’ll learn to really love your afternoon tea ritual too, I promise! 😉

yum!
I have never had a cup of tea in my life! I’m just not that crazy about hot drinks. But, a tea company did reach out to me and is sending me a box of tea to try next week … some kind of tea that’s supposed to be good for clearing skin. I’m hoping I like it! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Oh really? I love hot drinks! Hopefully you like the new tea coming your way!
We love tea – and we love trying new kinds! Lipton iced tea is already a favorite of ours. That green tea sounds great, as does the lemon and ginger! I bet we will give these a try! Thanks

Definitely try them! I love iced tea too!
I am a big coffee drinker but do know that tea is supposed to be really good for you. I had a conversation with a friend yesterday who switched to tea and I am thinking about doing the same thing. She says she also loves the way it makes her feel.

I can’t make the FULL switch but incorporating more tea and/or switching my afternoon cup of coffee for a cup of tea has been really nice!
That açaí and blueberry looks so yummy… I love tea, but usually go for loose leaves ones
I love a good loose leaf tea every now and then myself! Bags are so much more convenient though for me at work and when I’m feeling too lazy to clean out the steeper! 😉
I don’t like coffee too much, but I love tea. Especially, Iced tea. My favorite flavors are lemon, peach, green tea. Great post!

YUM!
I am pretty equal opportunity between tea and coffee. I have times that I reach for each! Fun fact: if you have a cut or something that won’t clot, put a traditional black Lipton tea bag (not wet) on it with pressure for a few minutes, and it will clot #boom.

Yum! I don’t think I could ever completely replace my coffee for tea, but my afternoon tea at work has become one of my favorite things!
Lipton makes some yummy teas! Neither my husband nor I drink coffee, so we don’t even have a machine, but we make a pot of tea to drink cold every day (in the tropics, hot tea isn’t quite as enticing…)
