-I was going to do the gift guide 5 days in a row but ultimately decided to break it up. Mostly because I didn’t actually get ahead at pulling it together and since I had a show Friday night, I didn’t really feel like staying up even later just to pull together the gift guide.
-Once I decided it wasn’t happening for Saturday, I quickly decided it wasn’t happening for Sunday either. Because those two days are basically one day – aka THE WEEKEND.
-While you’re sitting in front of your computer with a hot cup of coffee, I’m probably running around like a chicken with my head chopped gearing up for my trip. That’s right, I’m headed to Boston BRIGHT.AND.EARLY tomorrow morning for a trip for work. It may be for work, my flight might be leaving at 6 am, and I’m not really sure if I’ll have a lot of play time while I’m there, but I’ll be in Boston and I don’t care.
-But speaking of coffee…Friday morning I definitely OD’d on the sweet nectar. Didn’t know that was possible? It is. I was sitting on my couch, eating breakfast, reading blogs and then making my way through my email and starting my to-do list for the day. Next thing I knew my mug was empty…and the pot was empty…the pot had 3 mug-fulls of coffee. I’m not sure at what point I got up and refilled (TWICE) except that when I realized my mug was empty it was only 10:30..coffee was made a little after 7.
-I was also battling a headache Friday (probably NOT helped by the over-consumption of caffeine is such a small time frame) but post-adjustment, 20 min rest, lots of water, and ibuprofen late afternoon (so I could make it to a show in the evening without wanting to cry), I started to feel better. Good enough that I was able to drink 2 cups of (decaffeinated) tea and eat dinner.
-I should probably tell you dinner was consumed at 4:45pm. Sorry, not sorry, girl was on her way to hangry! 😉
Tell me about your weekend or your latest confession!

Oh girl… I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets headaches post adjustment sometimes…. but it is SOOO worth it. I have never been to Boston… I would LOVE to go!
It’s not very often I do but sometimes when I’m REALLY off (and probably on the verge of getting one anyway) but adjustments also my go-to to get RID of headaches. Paired with a nap + water, of course.
