-These posts have really become some of my favorite to write and since my thoughts come rather sporadically and I’ll never remember it all, I keep a note on my phone and add my confessions throughout the week. I guess a confession a day is probably good for the soul, right?
-I should also mention, most of this was written Friday night as I sat in bed NOT writing a post for Saturday. Funny how that happens.
-Tuesday marks my last day at the coffee shop and I’m really excited! Working two jobs the past two weeks has gone well but I’m definitely looking forward to spending more time at my new job. Though I will miss the free coffee and continually perfecting my latte art skills.
-I guess I should also confess, I totally made that latte for a customer but before calling it out and putting it on the bar, I snapped a photo. They were on the other side of the shop, they never knew. Besides, it was too pretty to pass up and they may not actually appreciate my skillz. Yes…I’ve got skillz. 😉
-One of my baristas asked for help with his resume. He sent me an email with what he had for his resume and I’m pretty sure I sent back a novel. I felt kind of bad and hope I didn’t overwhelm him but he’s deserving of a resume that shows off his skills (skillz?) and it takes work to get there.
-My last day off was the 11th…(between both jobs) and I have to be honest, after work yesterday afternoon, I felt like I didn’t know what to do with myself. I found this funny because having plans to see a certain awesome BLEND today means that I really don’t have THAT much extra time. …just more proof that I thrive when I’m busy.
-I’m also running a race today…just in time to make my one race per month goal. It’s a little closer to my 1/2 marathon than I was initially hoping for but I still think it’s fine. I’m not looking for a PR, just a nice run.
-And by nice, I mean, I wish the weather would cooperate…

You got mad skillz girl…MAD! 😉 I swear, it’s sad how many people there are in this world who don’t have a CLUE when it comes to resumes. I had a friend of mine show me hers once…it was in paragraph form…and it was THREE PAGES LONG! Seriously?!

I confess that my photo library is FULL of picture confessions…but I’ve YET to post an actual “confessions” post…pancakes don’t count! 😉
I confess that although I like the snow day off from work, that is more because I don’t want to go to work at the moment and less because I love snow. Actually, I am SO OVER snow.
I keep a confessions note on my phone, too…as well as a folder in my photos for pictures that might inspire confessions. 🙂

I had friends that went to Italy a few years back and they always talked about/posted pics of the cool coffee top pictures people made…I appreciate the mad skills! (And I love that you stopped to take a pic, haha!)
Hi Katie! I found your blog through Brittany, and I can’t follow to follow along! Your resume story made me laugh. My bachelor’s is in communications, and when my friends were graduating, they usually sent me their resumes to edit. I’d usually send back a novel too, and I always felt kind of bad!
