Sunday Confessions #6

To those of you who celebrate Easter – Happy Easter!

To those of you who don’t – Happy Spring!

I’m loving the warmer weather that’s been coming through our area this week – slowly but surely, but I’ll take it!  Besides for yesterday’s run, we had the windows and doors open yesterday bringing some fresh air into the house and it was glorious!  (Chilly at times, but glorious!)

Anyway, it’s Sunday and since I’ve been loving writing these posts, here’s a few of my confessions from the week:

-My Google Reader is out of control! The good news is that it’s not stressing me out…that’s a good sign of where I am in terms of my blogging and social media.  I really want to mark all as read but I also want to catch up on my friends lives…it leaves a girl a bit torn, especially with Blend 2013 coming up!

-With that said, please don’t feel bad if I start commenting on posts from a month ago…it might happen if I have something to say! ha!

-Sometimes I want the effects of Instagram on a picture without actually have to post to Instagram so I take a photo, do all the work, take a screenshot, cancel out of it and then crop the screenshot.  If that makes me a cheater, then I should also confess that I don’t care. 😉

-Speaking of…I may have been in a really goofy mood that led to a mini selfie photo shoot (I was not driving, just in my car!)…I used the above technique on each of these photos. 😉

-How many people decide they’re getting too much sleep at night?! Oh y’know, only ME! Seriously though, I’m trying to pay attention, keep track, and be careful to not get more than I should…

What do you confess today?

Love the selfies! I confess that I will add an IG filter to a picture, take a screen shot and repeat this process 4-5 times until I can decide which filter makes my pic look best! Lol

Ugh, I had to hide the counter on my Google Reader because every time I opened it up, I went in to a mini panic attack…all the while wishing people would just take a break from blogging for a day or two so I could catch up! Lol Now that I’m using Blog Lovin’, I’m not sure how to hide the counts, but I’m still trying not to stress out…TRYING being the operative word there! I just keep telling myself that I was in the same boat around this time last year…stressing about meeting everyone at Blend for the first time and not “knowing” anybody or what the latest was in their lives…and it didn’t end up mattering ONE BIT! Still, I feel ya on the torn bit…I WANT to catch up with everybody, but I just can’t sit at home in front of the computer day in and day out and constantly read blogs!

PS, can I just thank you for always writing such wonderful and SHORT posts?! 😉 Seriously, I need to take a clue but I can’t seem for the life of me to get under 500 words! :-/

Wait, why do you do the screenshot for the filters? You can just keep scrolling through them, silly!

Love all the selfies, too cute! I confess: I didn’t have any chocolate on Easter. Not sure why, it just didn’t happen? Oh wait, does cocoa powder in a smoothie count?? or chocolate coconut water?!

cocoa powder in a smoothie is one of my favorite ways to have chocolate! 🙂

I’ve been trying to do a quick “scan” of Google Reader, hitting “mark as read” and repeating. So far that’s working. 😉

LOVE it!! We had some chillier weather again yesterday and today while slightly warmer, it was still in the 40s but I had the front door open and wouldn’t put on a jacket. I’m hoping if i pretend it’s spring, it’ll hurry up and come back! 😉

There is something very healthy and calming to not let Google Reader stress you out. I can totally get that way. I had a big surprise this weekend, that has kept me from getting anything done . . . and I’m okay with it. I will catch up over the week, on my own time. 🙂
