Great minds think alike, we did it last year and we did it again this year. What I’m talking about is my Thankful Thursdays vs Amanda’s 30 Day of Thanks. So if you haven’t already, I highly recommend jumping on board, taking a moment each day to be thankful for what you have – the little things, the big things and join in. Stop over here to see what I’ve been thankful for and then make sure to head over to Amanda’s blog, join the link-up and check out what everyone else has been thankful for. You won’t believe how contagious the good feeling can be!
Friday 11/1
Afternoon walks taking in the beautiful colors of fall
Saturday 11/2
My yoga practice
I often find myself fighting to take the time to do it but as soon as I start and especially after I finish, I’m so happy I made the time.
Sunday 11/3
Brunch with friends
Friends both near and far but both who I don’t see often enough.
Monday 11/4
My job!
I don’t wake up and sulk over having to get to work, in fact, I look forward to it.
Tuesday 11/5
Maintaining friendships with friends far away!
I’ve had the opportunity to live all over the country, making friends all over the country but with every move, it becomes harder and harder to keep in touch with those far away. When I get to reconnect with those friends, it just fills my heart with joy.
Wednesday 11/6
My home!
I’m still so thankful to have been given the opportunity to get back out on my own. I was so grateful for my parents to open up their home for me to move back rent-free last year while I was figuring some things out but to be back on my own is just the greatest thing.
What have you been thankful for this week?

Oh my gosh yes i LOVE the colors of Fall – they make me So So happy!
Our first day of thanks was even basically the same!! <3 <3 Great minds indeed!
I KNOW!!! I almost felt like I needed to change it but I went on a walk and it was just beautifuL!
I wish I lived closer to you guys so I could hang out and do fun stuff like the hot chocolate run! You do have a pretty cool job too! This last year I have been so blessed so I was excited to jump on board with this challenge! 🙂
Seriously! Well, you’re welcome to visit the midwest any time! 🙂
I love gratitude- it really makes your whole life better!
Today I’m thankful that it’s beautiful out in Chicago after two rainy days. And that my boss was totally understandable this morning when I got stuck in traffic and was late. 🙂
It WAS a beautiful day in Chicago yesterday! And today as well. We better prepare though, it looks like we’re due for some chilly stuff coming up!
I love this idea and I did something similar last year… We’re too far into November yet, I should try to join! Today I’m thankful for my husband’s good bye kisses every morning when he leaves for work 🙂
You SHOULD join! As far as I”m concerned, it’s NEVER too late to be thankful!
Love the pictures of the leaves! And you and Amanda are just as cute as ever! Miss you girls SO much!
This week I’ve been more than grateful to have an amazing best friend to help ground me while going through some stressful times…and Benedryl…yes, very grateful for Benedryl! 😉
Aww girl, I’m here for YOU too!! <3
