I’ll be honest, it’s been a hard week. Maybe not even a hard week, but a hard yesterday. Yeah, that’s more like it, a hard Wednesday. I guess that’s not uncommon though; hence why Wednesday’s are nicknamed “hump day.” I’d said Thankful Thursday came just in the knick of time.

Coffee and conversation with a friend I haven’t seen in years
In fact, we can’t remember the last time we saw each other but it felt like we picked up right where we left off. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
A heart so full it could burst.
I’m not kidding. I was driving back from hot yoga feeling so blessed and so thankful that I thought my heart was going to explode. I found myself with my hand over my heart the whole way home.
My own space.
I don’t just mean my home, I mean a room where I can shut the door and be left alone. Sometimes this too is necessary.
A delicious vegan meal.
This the Southwestern Chipotle salad from Native Foods Cafe and it was so delicious. It was spicy, almost at the point of being too spicy for my palate but it was too good. I love walking into a restaurant and knowing I can eat every.single.thing on the menu. And Native Foods is entirely vegan and makes eating meat-free look so easy (not to mention delicious!)
New (to me) music!
Like I previously mentioned, I was struggling through Wednesday. Come night time I needed music but didn’t know what I wanted to listen to. Spotify recommended these guys and it was like as soon as I started hearing them play my mind and body started to relax. Don’t get me wrong, it didn’t entirely fix my day but I did start to feel better and that was all I could really ask for. You’ll have to wait until Monday to find out who these guys are if you don’t already know. 😉

Also I love that picture of you where you look like you’re face-planting on the floor. Sleep is the best medicine for me 90% of the time!! (Dave and I usually go to bed at 9pm so no judging here!!)
I love that picture too! I forget why I took it but it was some point last year and I’ve just loved it ever since.
