While I’ve been back home for a few weeks now, we haven’t really been able to catch up outside of the serious stuff so I figured we should play a little light-hearted game of catchup. Sounds good, right?
1 – Kombucha Obsession
I used to think I wasn’t a big fan of kombucha. I liked the ones with chia seeds mixed in but always had a hard time drinking any of the others. Our closest Whole Foods is 45 minutes away but while I was out that way last week, I decided to stop. My plan was to pick up a green juice but after passing the kombucha and seeing the “Gingerberry” flavor, I had a change or heart and decided to give it a try. I LOVED it!
When I was back out that way again a few days later, I had to stop again and this time picked up a Gingerberry and Cosmic Cranberry. I’m officially obsessed and can’t get enough! Can someone sponsor my kombucha addiction? 😉
2 – Current Book
While I had a goal to read 6 books this year, I keep starting and not actually finishing anything. Then my Advo team decided to read The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John C Maxwell. It may not sound like a page turner, I’ve really been enjoying it. I’ve been reading a chapter or two a day and taking notes but it’s been a great read! While not even half way through, I already can’t recommend this book enough.
3 – Evening Tea
I’ve been getting back into my evening tea routine again. It sounds so simple but this is something that I do for me and it’s the perfect moment for me to wind down from a long, crazy day. I was especially happy when the guest house in Indiana had tea in the kitchen and I could continue my relaxing evening habit.
4 – Bachelor Ben
I don’t usually talk too much about The Bachelor around these parts but it’s definitely my guilty pleasure show and to say I’m excited Ben is the next Bachelor and that I’m jealous of whoever gets to date him, would be the understatement of the century. Someone want to nominate me? 😉
5 – Back to the Gym
This week has meant the return to the gym for me. While I’m waiting a bit to get back to CrossFit, I did re-join my parent’s gym yesterday and I’m quite excited to get back to it! I even spent my evening last night writing out my next month of training. It’s the little things!
Catch me up on your life!

Can’t wait to catch up with you in PERSON!!!

Pingback: Fitness Friday #36 | Talk Less, Say More
I just became super obsessed with Kombucha but spent way too much so I decided to try and make my own. I’ve been letting it ferment for a couple days now so fingers crossed it works!
Oh my gosh! You will have to let me know how that works out!! I need to look into it more and figure out if it’s a process that I’m willing to try right now.
Ohhh, I love kombucha! To support my habit, I make it myself. I brew 4-5 gallons every couple weeks. I go through the stuff like crazy.
I’ve been getting back into the evening tea habit as well as I’m trying to phase out the evening glass of wine.
Is it hard to do? I know most people say it isn’t but I’m really intrigued by the process…
I’ve never had Kombucha, mostly because I’m a pretty weird eater and not a huge fan of most stuff like that. I kind of want to try it, but I just haven’t been able to. Especially since it’s $$$
Do you have any friends that drink it? Maybe ask them for a small sip to try? I remember not being so sure about it the first time I had it but then ended up loving it!
kavita has a grapefruit kombucha and it is now my favorite!
I usually buy every bottle that is left in the cooler. ?
It’s all mine! lol
mmmm….that sounds delicious!!
If you find someone to sponsor your kombucha obsession, sign me up as well! I love that stuff and everything it does for my belly, but that price tag. Ouch 😡
You can make your own kombucha! I have and it was as good as the stuff that I bought and way cheaper per bottle, too!
That’s what I hear…I have no idea why I’m so terrified of the whole process haha
Seriously…I’ll keep you updated, girly! 😉
