As we all know the whole reason for this move home, was to pursue my personal training certification with NASM. And yesterday afternoon as I was leaving to meet my cousin for a drink, the UPS man brought my box full of study materials (and backpack).

just stumbled upon your blog from you comment on Katie’s blog. i’ve been contemplating ordering the NASM material but the initial investment is kind of pricey. And i’m cheap. haha. Love the blog! 🙂
That’s true! Thankfully I was able to get in on their Labor Day special ($100 off) which helped a bit. I’m trying to consider it an “investment for my future” and justify the cost. There are other certifications that are cheaper but still nationally recognized. I had to go with one that wasn’t truly online-only because I know I need a book to help me learn.
