I’m going to be honest, I couldn’t get out the door yesterday.  Part because my body was sore and felt like it needed rest (so I listened!) but part because I was lacking motivation.  There was an easy switch by taking the planned rest for today, having it yesterday and hitting the pavement for my run today.


I did some foam rolling last night but just in case I was still lacking motivation, I thought we’d have another round of Thursday Thoughts, Running Motivation.


I don’t know about you, but I’m heading out the door!

    Good tunes and new workout gear alway get me going! Of course, right now, just being able to squat would be motivation enough to do more! Lol I CAN’T WAIT until I’m finally done with PT and can get back out there! Just do me a favor and remind me NEVER to complain about workouts again! 😉

      That’s a tough one for me – whether in a race or just at the gym. And I’ve never thought of myself as an overly competitive person!

    Love all those quotes. I can be motivated by preparing for races or a particular social event I may have coming up or if I set general fitness goals. In the last 2 weeks my motivation has been quite off as work has been full on so I totally understand where you are coming from.
