On Sunday I thought it was Monday; on Monday I thought it was Tuesday, but now it’s actually Tuesday and tomorrow is a big day. Tomorrow I’m only a few days short of my 3 year anniversary of living in LA. Tomorrow I also walk away from the last three years and make the move towards the next step in my life.
I forget where I read this, but they say “living in LA is like being stuck on a set of a movie you didn’t want to see in the first place.” I have no regrets for my move to LA. In fact I’m glad I made the move. I’ve learned a lot over the last three years and I’ve made some amazing friendships.
But at the same time, it’s been a challenging three years. I’ve met a lot of great people, but I’ve also met some not so great people. I’ve had some amazing moments, and I’ve had some not so amazing moments. It’s been one of the craziest roller coasters of my life and I’m torn with how to feel.
I’m excited for the journey ahead; I’m excited for my future; I’m excited to meet new people; I’m excited to dive into my new career. But despite all of the excitement, I’m nervous and anxious for what’s ahead.
So tomorrow is a big day. Tomorrow I drive away. Tomorrow I leave this movie set and make my way onto the next one.
What was the last big move you made?

My last big move wasn’t geographically far since I only moved from one side of town to the other, but it was after making a BIG change in my life. One of the best things I ever did!

Any move is tough! Whether it be 10 miles or 2,000 miles.
So ends one chapter of your life and begins another… how exciting!!
You know that I quit my (very stable, tenured, secure) job of 7+ years as a teacher to pursue my dream of being a trainer- just like you!
