Last year I wrote a guest post for one of my blogging friends breaking down flexibility. If you’re anything like me, flexibility training is the most overlooked part of your fitness regimen and while I’m a lot better than I used to be, there’s always room for improvement.
Lately, despite struggling from a lack of motivation, I’ve also been struggling with my legs feeling tired and sore. I think a big part of this is due to not enough stretching while increasing my running mileage.
Because of this, I thought I’d bring out the graphics I made for that guest post last year as a reminder to both you and me about the importance of incorporating flexibility training into our daily fitness.
I’m recommitting myself to stretching, foam rolling and regularly practicing yoga to keep my muscles in a good place through my half marathon training.
Do you make sure to regularly stretch before/after your workouts?

I need to get better about stretching. I’m bad….
I’m REALLY bad about stretching. I get into the groove of stretching before and after workouts for a few days and then fall off the bandwagon for a few weeks until I kick myself and start it again, it’s a vicious cycle… But I definitely can tell how much better my muscles and joints feel when I do!
