When we think of treating ourselves, we often think of luxuries – a mani/pedi, a shopping spree, a massage…
But sometimes treating oneself is about much more than that, sometimes it’s about allowing ourselves the freedom to just relax, to take the pressure off and just live and enjoy the moment.
I so desperately want to tell you about my weekend in Minneapolis at the Healthy Living Summit. I so desperately want to share the things I learned and the fun I had with new and old friends, but I’m still wrapping my head around it all. I wish I could share it with you all today but it’s going to have to wait.
My beautiful blend, Becky, wants us to treat ourselves and so today I am going to try. I have a giant to-do list and I will be doing my best to get through it, but I’ll also be taking the time to wrap my head around my weekend, get in a fun workout, put my feet up and relax a bit, and enjoy my day off. Because really, I’ll be so much more productive and easy to understand when I’m feeling well rested. 😉

Good for you for taking a day off! I was going to write up my 2nd recap of HLS for tomorrow but I’m just not feeling it and would rather do other things. Life happens and instead of stressing ourselves over it, it’s fine to just sit back and relax 🙂 Thanks for linking up, Katie!
