Honest moment? Last week was really hard for me. I did not feel like myself in many ways and was definitely taking stress harder than I’d care to admit, but the good news is that it’s a new week and while I can’t say I’m 100% back to myself, there is a little more light. That’s worth celebrating.
I’m still struggling to motivate myself to workout in my living room versus going to the fitness center, but I’m showing up and at least doing SOMETHING. I’m hoping as Poncho continues to adjust to our space and routine, it’ll get easier for me to get that early morning workout back into my schedule. Otherwise for now, I’m doing what I can, with what I have, and if anyone has any favorite at home workouts (that don’t require jumping – I live on the 3rd floor), send them my way!

Do you workout at home? What are your favorite at home workouts/programs?

Working out at home is a big challenge, I always see other things that need to get done. I have weights though and sometimes what helps is lifting weights while watching TV. I’m itching for nice weather so I can be walking and running outside again!
I’m definitely itching for nice weather!
I’m glad you’re feeling better than last week. It’s also hard for me to motivate myself to workout at home. I can’t wait until the snow goes away, and it’s finally spring around here. I need to get my step count up…yours is amazing!
Thanks to the pup that has to go out a few times a day, that’s where all those steps come in! 3 flights of stairs 3-4x+ a day! haha
Your step count is through the roof and awesome! I just looked back at my fitbit record for the week and always get so annoyed when I end the day with like 9500 steps. SO CLOSE! lol, oh well. and this is a perfect reminder for you, for me, for all of us: “Otherwise for now, I’m doing what I can, with what I have…” Sometimes it’s all we can do! I recently downloaded Cyberobics and they have some great high-impact short workouts.

My step count is really thanks to Poncho! haha
I dislike all the jumping workout that are around right now. My neighbors have knocked on my door before because of all the noise!
The trouble is that HIIT workouts ARE effective! When I’m able to get to the gym, it’s not a problem but since the dog is making it harder, I’m trying to do more bodyweight, light weights and non-jumpy stuff.
