This past weekend I had the opportunity to work at a yoga retreat. I wasn’t teaching, but I was a part of the support team, helping set up, prepare meals, and clean up. It may not sound like the most glamorous job, but it filled my heart with more joy than I can truly put into words. Just being around that energy and connecting more with the other two beautiful women on the support team, was just what I needed. I can’t wait to be involved in more retreats!
Anyway, despite the weekend being amazing, it took a lot out of me and this week I definitely feel like I’m in recovery mode. All I could do Monday night was curl up on the couch, read a book, and take every last bit of energy I could must to take Poncho out before an 8:30 bedtime. It was tough. But I’m taking rest and soon enough, I’ll be back to normal. With that out of the way, let’s check-in on last week’s workouts…

How was your weekend?

That’s awesome you got to help at a yoga retreat. This lady in my book club does those and she loves them!

That retreat sounds amazing! I’d love to actually go on one sometime. Nice job on your steps this week too.
I’m so glad you had a chance to go to the retreat and assist with it and that it was so much fun! Even the best things and most fulfilling things we do can totally wear us out though, so I understand your being tired afterward!
How great that you were part of working at a yoga retreat! That must have been a fun experience!
I have just posted one of these myself! I’ve been enjoying reading yours and thought I’d keep track of my workouts (it has had an amazing effect on my mood and energy level).
I can totally understand how being part of the support team over the weekend was amazing. Hope that you can do more of these as it is clear it brings you lots of joy.
