This week is flying by! Really, it’s just because it is a short work week for me with one of my good friends from home coming to town to visit. She came up Sunday afternoon, I took off Monday so we could hang out, get pedicures, walk the pup, and she left yesterday morning when I had to make my way into the office. It was a short visit but it was so good for both of us to get a little more time than we can usually fit into my trips home. I am so grateful she came to see me…and honestly, I’m also grateful that I was able to take a day off work to spend with her.
Anyway, I’m going to make this quick today as there’s a lot to do and there’s a puppy begging for more time outside. Here are my workouts from last week:
Monday 3/18:
Step count: 9,259
Rest
Tuesday 3/19:
Step count: 9,583

Thursday 3/21:

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? Is spring starting to show it’s face in your area?

So fun you were able to take a day off to spend with your friend! I’m so glad to hear it made you feel so good! And I have got to up my steps/workouts, something. This winter weight has got to go.
Man, you got after it, Katie! What a week. Looks like a month for me. (Okay, three months.)
I’m definitely getting steps in but not running as often as I’d like. And I’d like to get some strength reps of some kind in.
Last weekend, I coached five games in a row! Not even a potty break. I was so ready for lunch after. Spring has sprung here in the Carolinas. Time to get outside!
Nice week of workouts! I had fun with my kids this weekend. We went skiing on Sunday and it was 50 degrees. Soooo nice!

Time with friends is so good for the soul, isn’t it? I’m glad you were able to enjoy some QT with a wonderful friend. And your workouts sound really impressive! I’ve been upping my step count, too: having a dog to walk has helped immensely!
