What I Ate – And Sleep!!

14 Comments on What I Ate – And Sleep!!

It’s so close I can taste it.

It’s a good things it’s Wednesday and I’m sharing with you my eats or things might get a bit awkward around here. πŸ˜‰

But in all seriousness – do you know where I am right now?!

Breakfast:

Have I mentioned just how much I love season and weather changes? The cold air is welcomed in my book, especially when it has me craving big bowls of oatmeal for breakfast.Β  I’ve been loving them this week with chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg and of course topped with peanut butter and banana.Β  Even better is just how filling they’ve been!

Lunch:

Nothing new here except that you can’t even see the yogurt (I swear it is under all of that cereal and fruit).Β  And have I mentioned just how much I am loving pineapple in peach yogurt?!

Dinner:

My dad asked what I hadn’t had in a while lately and sounded good for dinner.Β  My response? Stir-fry! Veggie for me, chicken for them; sweet potato underneath for me, white rice for them.Β  Perfect dinner for everyone.

And for good measure, here’s a snack I made during one of my study breaks on Monday – SO good!

Graham crackers with peanut butter and pumpkin butter. It’s better than pumpkin pie! (Disclaimer, I’m not a fan of pumpkin pie…IΒ know!)

In other news, on Monday I had a customer tell me I look like Anna Kendrick.Β  What do you think?

Dear World, Feel free to keep telling me I look like pretty celebrities.Β  It boosts my confidence. πŸ˜‰

Today I am thankful for sleep, because after today I should be able to sleep again. (I hope!)

Happy Wednesday!

What are you thankful for today?

What are your favorite oatmeal toppings?

Haha you are so funny πŸ™‚ I love your eats and I’m glad to hear you’re able to sleeeep after the exam! Good luck!
    Have a great thanksgiving πŸ™‚

ps. I’m actually not a huge fan of pumpkin pie either but I’m okay with pumpkin flavored things (although I’m not CRAZY about them)

I haven’t had stir fry in a long time and this is partly because I don’t really want to eat white rice (or really don’t like the taste) but will try it with sweet potato soon!

I am really thankful for having such a close family and parents that genuinely care how I am doing and will do anything to help me out. As for oatmeal, I used to spoon in some activa yogurt and blueberries when I was in high school. Now I include anything lots of things like: walnuts, frozen cherry/berry mix from TJ’s, PB2, or banana πŸ™‚ Maybe I’ll add pumpkin some time.

Your snack is such a great idea! I love pumpkin butter and almond butter together (not a fan of PB) but putting on a graham sounds phenomenal! I’ve been all about oatmeal too lately. Its just so filling and comforting on chilly mornings! Thanks for sharing πŸ™‚

Good luck with your exam! I’m sure you’ll do awesome!

That pumpkin butter looks delicious. I have never had any… I don’t care if it’s after Thanksgiving- I’m going to make some!!

I am thankful for my dad, who on his day off of work, drove in with me to Walmart to buy some groceries. I came home from college yesterday and there were literally two things I could eat. One brown banana… And another brown banana. Lol. I am literally allergic to everything else in the house! Haha. I went to bed hungry and woke up starving.

Stir fry is an excellent choice!

I am Thankful to have a five day weekend! Although I’m likely to work from home some. I love to put bananas and Strawberry All Fruit on my oatmeal. Tastes so good!

Omg, is it today?! Ahhhh!! I remember that feeling of knowing I was THISCLOSE to a precious solid amount of sleep after my CT registry exam…you know, the kind where I wasn’t constantly dreaming about my study materials! Good luck, sweetie!

Love the graham cracker pumpkin pie! I’ve gotta try that!

And I TOTALLY see the resemblance to Anna Kendrick…like seriously, I always thought you looked like someone famous but couldn’t put my finger on who…she is definitely the one!
