I know it’s only Wednesday but it feels like this week is flying by already!  I think that’s in part because I’ve started working again.  Yes, that’s right.  I started working at one of our local coffee shops as a part-time barista.  This will be nice to bring in some income to pay my bills (hello car payment!) while still allowing me plenty of time for studying.

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program…


Breakfast:

I broke out my first can of pumpkin of the season this week (!!!) and made a big pot of oatmeal for the ‘rents and myself on Sunday.  We had a few extra servings for later in the week.

Lunch:

I’ve been sticking with my usual yogurt bowls for lunch.  Just a little Greek yogurt, fruit and cereal.  YUM!

Dinner:

This is not actually my soup…I was too hungry to remember a picture. 😉

My dad made a delicious (vegan) potato soup.  It was so nice to come home from work and heat up a bowl for dinner.  And it was very yummy!

      And despite having worked in coffee for 5-6 years, I suddenly feel like I’m back at square one a bit. Though I did get to pull espresso shots today so that was fun.

      2 – It was so good! I’m going to try and get the recipe up soon and will have to remember to take a picture of it when I eat the leftovers. let’s hope my hunger can control itself next time. 😉
