Some of you may hate me for that statement. Well maybe not for that statement but for what’s to come because of that statement. But let’s be honest, when all is said and done, you’ll actually love me for it.
Planks are one of the best things for your core – they work the WHOLE thing! But if we just held ourselves in a plank for as long as we could every single day, it’d get rather boring, don’t you think?
Some of my favorite core workouts have come from Tina. She likes to combine the basic plank with other core workouts in a plank position (aka: you’re just holding that plank even longer but adding variety). Here’s a great 6 minute Plank Workout:

What are some of your favorite core workouts?

I honestly hate doing strict ab workouts, which is why I incorporate a move or two into my workouts so that it’s just part of my circuit! Or I do different moves when I’m watching TV. It helps me from screaming at it when a sports event is on 😉

i have been doing hanging leg raises and L sit holds and really loving those. i have always loved hanging leg raises though
I LOVE hanging leg raises but those L sit holds…yeah, haven’t done them… 😉
