Happy Wednesday!
I saw this on the internet somewhere the other day and thought it was funny.Β Iβm definitely not shoe crazy (unless weβre talking running shoes), it still gave me a good chuckle and I can think of a few different people who might agree with this statement. π
I also want to make sure to share what I’m thankful for today – my lungs. Β You see, running isn’t easy with my asthma but ever since I started running and got into a consistent workout regimen a few years ago, my lungs continue to strengthen. Β Despite being on a daily medication to control my asthma, I can still feel my lungs strengthening with each run. Β And I can’t help but be thankful for that. π
There were some fun eats this week that I canβt wait to share with you all, so letβs get to it!

The return of colder weather is prompting the return of a big bowl of oatmeal and since itβs fall and Iβm all about pumpkin, I had some delicious pumpkin oatmeal with sliced banana and peanut butter.Β Well, and a cup of coffee! (Right, Amy?) π
Lunch:
We had a big table full of delicious eats at Sundayβs party – banana blueberry bread, apple muffins, monster cookies, fruit, and some additional pastries.Β Of course there was more coffee for me, but also lemonade and apple cider.Β This ended up turning into lunch; good thing it was tasty!
And as for those apple muffins, you lucky ducks get the recipe on Saturday and boy are they GOOD! π
Dinner:
Iβve been craving salads this week so a big salad with a fried egg on top was perfect.Β Along with another slice of the banana blueberry bread.Β YUM!
What have you been craving this week?Β
Any particularly delicious eats?

Wow, everything sounds amazing! You can’t go wrong with oatmeal:)
So happy that your lungs are getting stronger!
Also, I am happy to be inspired by this banana blueberry idea. What about banana, blueberries, AND peanut butter on that pumpkin oatmeal??? π
Yes! Dad just bought blueberries. Maybe tomorrow’s breakfast?
It takes time, but your lungs will get stronger and stronger. I haven’t used my inhaler in years!!! I have been craving carbs… I think it is the stress!
Great things to be thankful for – happy to hear your lungs are strengthening – what a great feeling! Thanks for sharing what you ate : those desserts sound delectable by the way π I looooove adding almond butters to my oats too – sooo yummy!
Just came across your blog- glad I did! I have never thought of putting peanut butter in oatmeal before! Gotta try that with tomorrows brekkie…. π
WHAT?! You MUST try it!
Yum! All those baked goodies look yummy! I’ve been craving cake like no one’s business lately!
Mmm…cake.
Apple muffins look good.
I’ve been craving a roast dinner, chicken or turkey with gravy, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.
It’s a good thing Thanksgiving is coming. π
Muffins are my favorite thing to bake. Other than cookies. π Can’t wait for your recipe! I have a bunch of apple to use up too.
Thats great that your lungs are getting stronger! Yummy eats! π
Okay tease!! Man, knowing I gotta go two full more days without the recipe is such a bummer π
Hmmm…. I can see all of your photos just fine, so that’s good I guess!
That party that you went to on Sunday sounds awesome. Especially that blueberry banana bread. And I can’t wait to hear more about Apple Muffins on saturday π
I’ve been craving a lot of fruit, as always!
Unfortunately, none of your photos loaded. π Great news that your running is helping to strengthen your lungs and easing your asthma. Incredible!
Really?! Boo…I can see them just fine. Darn technology and it’s trickery… π
