Yoga in July

My Sunday was pretty incredible! After breakfast Sunday morning I made my way to hot yoga. I really need to go more often, it’s one of my favorite things.

After yoga I grabbed a giant salad from Whole Foods and sat at Starbucks for a few hours before heading to Lululemon to use a couple gift cards burning a hole in pocket.

A couple years ago, I committed to a month of yoga – every day I went to the studio down the street from where I was working and went to class.  The transformation – mentally, physically and socially was amazing, I can’t quite explain it.  So, I’m going to do it again!

I won’t necessarily go to the studio every day, but I will have a variety of practices – at the gym, at a studio and at home.  Wherever, whenever and however it will happen.

This is my commitment to myself.

While Sunday wasn’t technically July, I made it my kickoff to this commitment.  Then last night I continued by practicing before I went to bed.  Whenever, however, wherever.  I highly encourage you to join me.  What do you think?

My local studio is doing a challenge in July. I think I might do it. I am always worried about doing yoga in the summer, but you are right, it does help every area of your life!

I definitely want to do more yoga. Ive at least started doing daily meditation as a way to calm down and just relax more. I’m yet to find a good yoga place nearby that isn’t too expensive, but I should buy a good yoga DVD to do at home.
