We’ve had a gloomy couple of days in Grand Rapids but I’m not complaining. I love rainy days; they’re just so relaxing. I had a couple cravings this weekend…
My first was for chocolate. This had actually been going on all last week so I decided to pick up a bag of peanut butter M&Ms and brought them to the boy’s to eat while we played cribbage. The second was to do a puzzle so on Sunday morning I hit up Target, picked up a 1,000 piece puzzle and got to work. I spent nearly the entire day working on that puzzle and had to force myself to go to bed instead of trying to stay up to finish…you best believe I made sure to finish that puzzle before heading to work Monday morning. ha!
Okay, okay…I know you’re not here to read about my current obsessions today. You want breakfast, right? Well, I am here to deliver!
So what all goes into my morning smoothie?
- 1 scoop protein powder (whatever is your favorite) OR 1 TBSP chia seeds
- 1 scoop greens powder
- 1 TBSP nut butter (I’ve been using a powdered one I have)
- ½ cup frozen berries
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 cup Almond Breeze Almondmilk Cashewmilk
Throw it all in a blender, blend, and enjoy!
What do you put in your go-to breakfast smoothie?

This smoothie looks great! Thanks for sharing.
Looks super good! I have never tried that type of milk before
Aughhh, all of that looks amazing! I’m too cold these days to drink smoothies in the morning (sigh), but maybe if I make it an afternoon or evening thing! *-*
This looks so yummy 🙂 can’t wait to try it.
That looks great! I’ll have to try this one out next week! Did you ever have the M&M’s with pretzel in it? So good!
I love puzzles – so much fun and perfect for a rainy gloomy day!
That smoothie sounds wonderful – I will definitely try this one, I am always on the lookout for new recipes! Thanks!
Oh my gosh, this sounds so good! I never thought of putting nut butter in there. How does that taste?!
