Tuesday Temptations

We face temptation everyday – from our food choices, relationships, and money. But sometimes we’re tempted in other ways – some unexpected some not; some good, some not.  Today we’re talking about what’s been tempting me lately.

-26.2 I’m not sure if this is in part from finishing 13.1, the Boston marathon tragedy, telling people I didn’t think I could/would, or what but the idea keeps creeping in my mind lately. No rush.

IMG_2489-An apartment. Moving back home was only intended to be a few months to save money. Well saving took longer than expected (& honestly, still working on it) but I’m getting really antsy for it again. So much so that I’m often searching listings on the Internet in my free time…

How AWESOME is this?!

-DIY. I’ve always considered myself “kinda crafty” but as of late, I keep searching Pinterest for cheap DIY for the above non-existent apartment. Keep in mind, these things I’m finding, I probably can’t and don’t have the patience to make. 😉

photo-240-Sometimes you just want something sweet.  Who needs candy when you’ve got blueberries to pop like candy?

Who says temptation is a bad thing?

kudos to you for not jumping on the marathon. i think also i understand what you’re going through on the apartment. i’m not patient. i’ve been in a space (mentally and physically) that I thought was temporary for far too long, and i think i need to get in a point where i can just BE.

Ugh, I can be crafty when I WANT to be, but sadly I just don’t make the time for it…though I really should. I love how a good project can be such a stress reliever sometimes! I really need to break out the canvases I’ve been “saving” forever and just slap some pain on them already! Lol

Lately I’ve been tempted by the weights section in my gym, but since I’ve been out of the “game” for like two months now, I haven’t given in…until today! I didn’t do much…just a few chest and triceps moves but it felt GREAT to feel my muscles moving! I so want to build back the strength I’ve lost over the past few months…baby steps, right?

Oh I am SO not crafty. The amount of times I’ve gotten a DIY project idea in my head, and even purchased some of the materials for it, and then just abandoned the idea for some other use of my time is endless.

I think I used to be crafty though. At one point.

My grapes are your blueberries. [That somehow sounds dirty but I hope you know what I mean.]

The only DIY project I’ve been happy with from start to finish was artwork I made for my apartment when I was recovering from surgery and unable to move from a chair. haha

Blueberries are a dangerous fruit to have on hand, I could go through multiple cartons of blueberries in one sitting. I never thought I would want to run a marathon, actually never thought I would want to run at all, but recently the idea of doing one in the far distant future has kind of started to interest me. I know a lot of people find moving home to save money hard, but if your doing your saving well it will make it so much easier once your out!

I feel you about the apartment – I’m planning on moving home soon to save as well, and I don’t think it will be long before I’m craving independence again!
