Happy 4th of July, friends!
If you don’t reside in the U.S. then Happy July, Happy Monday, or Happy Whatever You Want to Celebrate! 😉
I’ve been spending my weekend in Illinois with family and friends but am heading back to Michigan bright and early to (try and) avoid as much traffic as humanly possible and get myself all caught up and set for the week ahead of me.
But before I bid you adieu to a day full of fun and festivities, let’s listen to some music, shall we? Today I’m sharing “All is Well” by Austin Basham.
With lyrics like these, it’s hard not to relate to certain moments of life, whether present or past.
I know what it is
But I’m hoping all is well
No harvest of green
But it’s still my heart to sell
I put everything I had
Into something that didn’t grow
Like going on a wild hunt
Shooting arrows without a bow
So whatever you’re thinking or feeling or worrying or wondering about today, I hope you take a few minutes for you, whether it be to listen to music, write in your journal, go for a walk or just surround yourself with friends, family, fun and lots of good food.
How did you spend your weekend?

I was with family for my cousin’s wedding all weekend. It was a lot of people. Instead of taking july 5 off, I traded so I have a 10-7 shift. Giving myself plenty of time in the morning to relax/recoup before going to the office.

Love those lyrics! I hope you have a great 4th!
Happy Fourth of July from Australia!
Love those lyrics! I’m usually a little stressed on any holiday, but I’m going to try to take it slow today, and really enjoy. Thank you! Have a safe trip back home!

A great reminder to take some time to slow down to day and practice self care – whatever that looks like. Hope it’s a good day for you – and that you beat that traffic.
