First of all, can I tell you how much I’m loving the snow? While it was terrible to drive in yesterday, it was absolutely beautiful and left us this nice winter wonderland. I even shoveled the driveway while my parents were gone yesterday afternoon, so they wouldn’t be driving over 3+ inches of heavy snow.
To those of you on the East Coast getting hit with this storm, and from my understanding, a worse version of it, please stay safe!
Anyway, moving on to my fitness from the week and I have to say I’m very happy with how training is going. After a hard week last week, it felt good to get back on track. I had a crabby day on Wednesday so instead of trying to power through my full workout, I split it between Wednesday and Thursday and I’m so happy I did. Tomorrow will be a 5 mile run that will mark the end of my 4th week of 1/2 marathon training – eeeeeep!
Things are really about to start picking up and honestly, while I’m nervous, I’m so excited! My body has been feeling so strong and amazing, and the cleaner I eat, the better it feels. As they say, eat clean sweat dirty. 🙂
Now it’s your turn – join the fun!
How do you eat clean sweat dirty?
How were your workouts this week?
Any fun fitness goals you’re working on?

Ugh, I need to start eating cleaner. But it’s so hard! Great job this week.
It IS hard, I agree! I just always remind myself how much better I feel when I do eat clean and that usually helps. If the stomach ache the next day isn’t worth it, I skip it.
I totally wish we got some snow over here! It makes me sad I have yet to see any!
Looks like a great week of workouts:)
Girl, I get it! After living in SoCal for 3 years, I’m loving EVERY.MOMENT we get snow!
I’m hoping to do a 5K in March, so all these long runs you’re doing are super impressive to me! And I’m kind of jealous of the snow…we don’t get much in California as you can imagine 😉
I lived in SoCal for 3 years…the lack of snow always made me sad. These long runs are super impressive to me too! 😉
The hubby has started his half training!! I’ll be cheering you two on. That snow is so pretty! I wish we would get a bit of snow!
YAY! When’s his race?
Ick–not a fan of all the snow! My workouts this week were pretty intense, and I’m feeling it!! I think I need to take it easy this weekend. Yoga tomorrow should feel wonderful!
Yoga is ALWAYS a good thing in my mind! Enjoy your rest. 🙂
We have been eating clean as a family:) Doing tons of juicing, to which my 3yr old proclaims is delicious! Ultimately we have made the decision “If you do not buy it you will not eat it!”
I always follow the “if you don’t know what that is/can’t pronounce it, you probably shouldn’t eat it.” 😉
